Route62 is a Japanese independent music project creating Adult Youth Rock from Japan.
At 62, a new musical journey began.
Route62 is not about looking back at youth.
It is about moving forward — creating new songs, taking on new challenges, and finding new possibilities at any age.
The music draws from rock, pop, city pop, AOR, and cinematic sounds, inspired by life, love, friendship, work, family, memories, and the world around us.
Life doesn’t end at sixty.

The Story Behind Route62
The creator of Route62 was born in Japan in 1963 and began his professional career in 1986.
Music has always been part of his life. Growing up, he listened to artists such as The Beatles, ABBA, Bay City Rollers, The Carpenters, Bon Jovi, Journey, and Toto.
For decades, music remained a passion while work, family, and everyday life came first.
Then AI changed what was possible.
By writing his own lyrics and working with AI as a creative partner, he found a new way to turn ideas, memories, and experiences into original music.
At the age of 62, Route62 was born.
